Every teacher has a different approach to the way they do things so I thought it might be handy if I gave you a rough idea of what to expect from my classes.
Support: Teacher support is included with each class and is always available.
I have a facebook group for each of my classes where I check in daily and you can private message me too if needed. If you are not on facebook you can either leave a comment in the comment section in each lesson or email me and I am happy to provide any support you need that way too.
I am based in the UK so if you don't hear from me for a while it could be down to the time zones. Be assured though, I never ignore people and will get back to you as soon as is humanly possible, usually within 48hrs.
All of my students are important to me :)
Style of teaching: I like to teach short, easy to follow and understand lessons.
I use written instructional text in my videos instead of talking and painting at the same time (although there may be some talking from me at times too)
I love learning new things but when the videos are over a certain length, I switch off and get bored. So with that in mind all my videos are under an hour in length but there are plenty of them :)

I just wanted to tell you how much I love this class! (A Love of nature) I quit my corporate job about 2 years ago and re-discovered my love of art. I came across your personal artwork on Facebook and fell in love with it. Then I discovered you had on line classes and was thrilled. This is my first class with you and I love it. I have always been a lover of nature and I knew I had to take this class. I love the freedom of the class. There is so much to learn and so much guidance, step by step videos and it is fun. I have one week left and am sad to see it end. The good thing is I am leaving with tools and techniques that I can create my own paintings. I would highly recommend taking this class and I am personally looking forward to other classes with Micki Wilde - The Secret Hermit!

I just LOVE Micki's (The Secret Hermit) art and her classes are the BEST! Micki is so generous with her knowledge and makes the classes very easy to follow along! I love her whimsical style and enjoy the music as I'm creating. Her classes are also very affordable. I have taken several of her classes and can't say that I have a favourite as I love them all but if I had to choose I'd say A Hermit's Compendium and Sugary Sweet Class.

Let me tell you that this girl really surprised me. I didn't know if I would like her hair (which I am in love with btw) or how she would look like... I only did know I had to go on and paint, paint, paint.... She was done very late at night and I was very tired that day but wow! how I felt when I finally had her done. I was "super happy"! I am drawing since I was about 3 years old, never took and art class in my life, but let me tell you that Micki Wilde's classes really do something more than teaching you how to paint a face or a background... she let you go to a world where things simply fit together, in this case, a love of nature, I can feel how the first lesson is being planted and growing in my soul. This little girl really make me feel calm and confident, and I am sure at the end of the class when I look at her again I will still feel the same.

I first came across Micki during Lifebook 2014 and was instantly obsessed with her style. I felt it was way out of my league as a beginner but her teaching style walked me through it and it is the only lifebook lesson that I loved enough to hang on my wall. Since then I have signed up for Micki's "A hermit's compendium" class which is full of fun. brilliant techniques (love love love making the book) and adorable quirky little creatures. I cannot recommend Micki enough - her classes are worth every penny and I will most certainly be coming back for more. X
